The Camino de Santiago is an ancient pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in north western Spain. The routes stretch in all directions across Europe but the most well trodden path is the Camino Frances which begins in St. Jean Pied de Port, a small town on the French side of the pyrenees.
